Mechanical Pencil
The Paper Bro mechanical pencil addresses both major and minor issues my peers experienced when using a standard mechanical pencil. It maintains the pocket holder, finger grip, and eraser well, with each piece having been modified for optimal performance.
The eraser well’s width fits the standard eraser (4.5mm), but is raised to 4.35mm in order to utilize more of the eraser.
The pencil's clip is positioned so that the clip itself could be made shorter for maximum versatility when worn.
The housing was built around the lead pump mechanism from the Paper Mate 0.7mm.
The finger grip grooves were created with multiple, hard-angle chamfer fillets, giving the user a comfortable, yet steady hold.
The point / lead sleeve has a hard angle to prevent improper utensil positioning and handling.
